How does Nexus work?
Nexus is a prepaid postage account. You keep money in your Nexus wallet, and each label you buy is paid for from that balance at the moment you buy it. Nothing is billed later, except in the rare case of a carrier adjustment.
What do I need before I can ship?
First you need a Nexus account and API key. Contact support to open an account. Then simply copy the API key we send you into the PostalPoint settings under Shipping → Main Postage Provider → Nexus. Then press Save Settings and exit and re-enter the Settings screen to refresh.
Once you have the account set up, you need money in your wallet, which means linking a bank account or saving a card. This can be done in the same settings area as the API key (after you add the API key, wallet settings will appear).
You also need a complete business address in the PostalPoint settings. This ensures you get the correct rates, and is also required by postal regulations.
