1. Connect Square account
In Settings → Payments → Credit Card Processor, select Square from the dropdown list, click the Square tab below it, and then click Log In to Square. A Square login page appears; follow the steps on screen to log in and authorize PostalPoint to access your Square account.
2. Pair Card Terminal
On your Square Terminal's login screen, select the option to sign in with a device code. In PostalPoint's Square settings from step 1, click Pair Square Terminal hardware. PostalPoint will show you a device code. Enter it on the Square Terminal. The Terminal will show a loading screen. Once the loading screen is complete, click OK on the device code message in PostalPoint. Your Square Terminal is now paired to this installation of PostalPoint.
Notes
A Square device can only be paired to one computer at a time.
PostalPoint only supports the Square Terminal, the white wedge-shaped countertop card reader. Other Square devices may work, but are not tested or supported at this time.
While paired with PostalPoint, the Terminal's point of sale app is disabled. Log out on the Terminal and log in again with an email and password (not a device code) to access the Square point of sale software.
